Some of the other regulars at storytime were talking about Springfield Mall and how they host a kid shoe on the second Wednesday of the month. I was intrigued and thought it would be a fun outing for today. Today, mister don performed, and he was really good! He was great with the kids--encouraging them to dance, sing along, and play instruments. His songs were pretty normal kid songs, but he added fun little twists here and there. The boys really seemed to enjoy it! They mostly ate their snacks and looked around. They did enjoy shaking their jingle bells, however. Jackson asked to get out and sat on my lap for a while, and I helped him do the hand motions and dance a little. I think we will definitely try to make it to the next one!
