On Wednesday, we headed to Savannah, Georgia for the day! It was about an hour away, and it was really fun to see a new place! Jackson and I were able to cross off a new state :) We spent a lot of time walking along the river front. There were tons of cute shops and restaurants. We ended up eating off of some carts and checking out the boats on the river. After lunch we meandered through some of the streets and visited many of the squares that Savannah is famous for. Most of them have a statue or a church associated with them. It's really nice to see nice green areas for people to enjoy. We spent some time before dinner wandering around Harbour Town, and then we went to Mellow Mushroom for dinner. The pizza was really good and the decor was pretty cute!
