Sunday morning we headed to the playground that was not too far from our house. It was in Harbour Town, a super cute area of shops, restaurants, more timeshares, and of course there was a lighthouse. The playground was really great! The highlight was definitely the huge tree house! Jackson loved running along the sidewalks. Even tripping and getting an enormous knot on his forehead didn't stop him! He was crying, but mostly out of frustration that we wouldn't set him down to continue running! I don't think he was nearly as traumatized as I was about his growing bruise! We caught the playground just at the right time since it started to rain as we got ready to leave. The rain let up by the late afternoon--enough for a walk! After Rachel and Jackson were in bed, Susie and I went out and picked up Fuddruckers for dinner. It's only the second time I've eaten there, and it was really good!
Obviously, Jackson was not too hindered by his injury. He managed to mooch food from both Josh and me... Ah, our baby raptor :)
I began writing this blog because I wanted to track Josh's and my adventure into parenthood. We are thoroughly enjoying every day with Jackson Albert. We are SOOO looking forward to welcoming a baby brother for Jackson at the beginning of June! We welcome our friends to read along :) My blog has changed a little as I have found myself enjoying using my blog to share parenting tips and tricks, book recommendations, recipes, and other great ideas! Happy reading and feel free to comment early and often :)
